MEET
coach juan Sebastian
Juan Sebastian graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management and Finance. He has over 3 years of experience coaching and over 9 years on the court. He was his schools number 1 seed on Varsity and the Team Capatin his last two years. He started coaching because he wanted to be the coach he never had the opportunity to have. He also wants to prepare the next generation of tennis players to represent Houston.

Coach Greg
Greg is a 3rd-year student at the University of Houston Downtown studying Marketing. He first picked up a racquet in high school and he hasn’t looked back since. He first started training at Pine forest country club and is currently training at JCC Boniuk tennis center. He started coaching because he wanted to provide the next generation with an opportunity to grow and succeed.
MEET
Coach Camila
Camila has 14 years of experience on the court at a competitive level. She reached number 14 in the Venezuelan national ranking and number 20 in Chile. She played number 1 seed at Cinco high school and is currently playing as number 1 seed for Warner University in Florida. She has been coaching for 2 years now and started coaching because she wanted to give back to her community and help train the next generation in Houston.

We try to have our lessons at Tompkins High School on the weekends and Tays jr high during the week but times and locations are subject to change based on court availability. Don’t forget to sign up for the remind messages to stay up to date with any updates on the location or time of practice.

Attendance/ Make-up Policy
It is each player and their parent’s responsibility to attend any scheduled practice. Life happens and things come up. If you paid for the monthly option you contact Coach Juan Sebastian or Coach Greg to reschedule. With constant cancelations reschedules are not guaranteed
What happens if it rains?
Practice will only be canceled if it rains or the courts are too wet to play on. In the event of a weather cancelation of 2 or more days, there will be make-up days sent out on remind.
How does payment work?
For the monthly option payment must be made at the beinging of the month prior to the first class. For the Daily option it will be due at the end of the lesson. Payment can be made through Zelle: Blackhatennis@gmail.com Cash and Check is also accepted, please text Coach Juan Sebastian for more information.
Do we just show up to the classes if we are doing the daily option?
Text Coach Greg (832) 418-3711 that you are coming 30 mins prior to the lesson and just show up. If you are enrolled in the monthly option there is no need to inform the coach you are coming.
